Snap out of it!

I'm one of those who are never satisfied with what s/he's got. Here! I've admitted it! Now it's time to do what everyone is so famously doing nowadays and start going to therapy. REMEMBER: something else is always responsible for what goes wrong in your life!

Am I missing Melbourne, or just bored with KL? I know I miss how I used to have close friends to go hang out with. Lunches and dinners. Coffees and chichats. I miss shopping at FAT (GPO) and walking up and down Lt. Collin Street on Sundays. I miss skipping Mondays' classes to go to the gym. I miss tennis. I miss the four seasons (a day). I miss Melbourne - who would have ever thought I'd say this, let alone admit it.
KL? I love KL. But... something is not right and I can't pinpoint what exactly. Everything is what/how I thought it'd be before I came back, but still... I've been feeling a bit restless and perplexed lately. I L-O-V-E KL, but HK seems better... so does Sg... Taiwan could be fun... wouldn't mind returning to Melbourne either. Argh! I'll get over it. Somehow.
This eco- aka Anna Hindmatch bag is big everywhere. I can't wait to get mine off Chan when it arrives on our shores. Sure. It's girly and perhaps also sissy. But in the world of fashion, nothing is too feminine for a guy slash fashionista (other than skirts, blouses, dresses, heels, low-cut V-necks, g-strings, pantyhoses.........................................)
And I want the CDG vintage-mickey. GIVE ME! GIVE ME! GIVE ME!

Rihanna - Umbrella

The MTV may be on the tacky side... slightly obscene... and perhap... a bit... whorish too with the leather tutu and maid cross swimsuit costume, the song itself does have quite a clingy tune.

FUCKING HILARIOUS!!! I mean... SAD!

Man shot dead for bad karaoke
Thursday May 31 17:49 AEST

A jobless man was shot dead by a security guard for singing out of tune in a Philippine karaoke bar, police said Thursday.

Romy Baligula, 29, was halfway through his song on Tuesday night in a bar in San Mateo town, east of Manila, when 43-year-old security guard Robilito Ortega yelled that he was out of tune.

As Baligula ignored his comments and continued singing, Ortega pulled out his revolver and shot him in the chest.

Senior Superintendent Felipe Rojas said Baligula died instantly.

The security guard was detained by an off-duty policeman shortly after the shooting.

Deaths and violence are not uncommon in Philippine karaoke bars.

The popular Frank Sinatra song "My Way" has been taken off many karaoke bars in Manila after it was found to be the cause of fights and even deaths when patrons sang out of tune.

Agyness Deyn

First impression DOESN’T always count. When I first saw Agyness Deyn in a fashion spread in a magazine, my first thought was: “This is one hell of a sissy boy.” And then I realised he’s actually a she. Now, I find myself fixated on his, I mean her edgy, boyish appearance and defined cheekbones. I’m not sure about those claims of her being the next Kate Moss, but I’m bestowing her “My Next Favourite Model” award anyway. She so deserves it!

Oh how I miss my little segment of I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY and here it is again.

I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY! Friendships should be valued and appreciated. Living among millions and millions of people, it’s purely fate when two persons become acquainted. The need to be open-minded towards diversities, and readiness to compromise and be selfless are necessary and inevitable. But when an individual somehow decides that s/he is given the right to stamp on top of others, drop his/her dump and pretend that it’s everyone else’s fault now that everyone is covered with shit, that’s when things get nasty.

3rd Destination of '07 - Singapore

It’s tiring being me. I was asked by my editor to attend several events for work last week. It’s exhausting to have to attend, let alone sit through functions that you have no interest whatsoever in. But then I guess it’s better than being chained behind a desk. Anyway, out of the bunch, I enjoyed the piano recital by French pianist, Bertrand Chamayou and the Jimmy Choo’s press conference. And I had my first taste of the so-called fashion drink, Moët & Chandon at the latter event. Hurray! I can now draw a line across no. 17 of my “20 Must-Dos before 40” list.

Chan and I and several other friends went to Sg over weekend to go to a beach party. It’s really just like any other beach parties. We weren't going to go at first but went anyway to support a friend of ours who was DJing there that night, to pay our friends in Sg a visit and to shop. After the party, we went to a club called Home for an extension. Furniture from the Salvation Army, wired fenced bar, concrete dominated interior, amazing music, Home is truly an eye-opener. I wish there are clubs like that in KL. Overall, this was the funnest Sg trip I have had thus far. I was able to get the slogan tee and Acne jeans that I've been wanting to get for while, and the partying was different... in a good way. Our Singaporean friends played great hosts.

Next destination? I have a feeling it’s gonna be Sg again.

Ps. I'll update with pics once I've found the cable for my cam.
